Featured Partner Organization: UNITED RELIGIONS INITIATIVE

United Religions Initiative

After watching SOUND OF THE SOUL, you may wish to join an international organization dedicated to interfaith cooperation. Here we offer an opportunity to join United Religions Initiative, one of our campaign partners, who currently has a network of interfaith groups spanning 65 countries.

United Religions Initiative is composed of Cooperation Circles, interfaith groups who pursue their own purpose and are globally connected through the URI network. As part of URI's network of 360 Cooperation Circles, groups can share experience, knowledge, inspiration and encouragement.

Cooperation Circles

What do Cooperation Circles do?

A Cooperation Circle is formed by people who come together to initiate acts of interfaith cooperation and peace building. Cooperation circles share perspectives from different traditions; offer humanitarian relief; organize music festivals; clean rivers; offer hospice counseling; develop educational programs; create opportunities for intercultural and interfaith reflection, and a host of other activities.

How do Cooperation Circles interact with each other?

Cooperation Circles are provided opportunity to communicate with other CCs around the world using a special website and listservs. CC activities and events are highlighted in global newsletters and bimonthly ebulletins sent to all CCs. CCs are invited to participate in URI regional and global assemblies and are encouraged to organize gatherings locally with other CCs for mutual support and exchange of information.
